Pending documentary accreditation, it is cited as the year of incorporation of the Orduña family’s first business company.

The deed of sale of the Bétera factory belonging to the brothers Vicente and Ángel Orduña Alberola to their sister, Mª Amparo, is hereby established. The company Acabados Textiles Orduña, S.A., with headquarters in Bétera, is incorporated.
2000
Brothers Ángel and Gonzalo J. O. buy the Bétera factory from their parents.

Faced with a lack of work and high seasonality at the textile finishing plant, which had three shifts and 50 employees, Ángel and Gonzalo J. O. decided to create a trading company to supply the factory with more kilos of dye; Textil Batavia, SL was founded.

While maintaining its corporate name, the company changed its name to ORDUÑA 1755, S.L. and its registered address: Calle Regaliciar, 1, Polígono Industrial Moncada 2, Moncada. At the same time, it entered the technical nautical textiles sector by acquiring the company Advanced Sails, S.L., located at the Real Club Náutico de Valencia.

Orduña 1755, SL, after exhibiting at several editions of Home Textiles Premium in Madrid and Valencia, is planning its first participation in ISE Barcelona 2026 (the international audiovisual systems and scenography fair).
The 270th anniversary of the textile tradition is being celebrated on December 19, 2025, with the presentation of the book, ORDUÑA 1755.
