2022 Torre Bofilla Awards

More than a hundred entrepreneurs, merchants, and members of Bétera’s civil society gathered for the first edition of the Torre Bofilla Awards, held by the Bétera City Council to recognize the merchants and business owners who contribute to the innovation, modernization, promotion, and competitiveness of the local business and commercial sector. This initiative was promoted by the City Council’s Department of Trade and Industry, with the collaboration of the Business Association of Moncada, Alfara del Patriarca, Náquera, and Bétera (AEMON) and the Bétera Merchants Association (ACB).

As the Mayor of Bétera, Elia Verdevío, explained during her speech, “these are family-run businesses that have successfully maintained, adapted, and evolved alongside new consumer habits and the challenge of digitalization, without losing their values of proximity, personalized service, and trust.”

In the business category, Schuller was recognized for its business trajectory; the award for innovation, digitalization, and new technologies went to Naranjas del Carmen; the award for quality and excellence was presented to Aromas del Campo SL; and the award for corporate social responsibility was granted to ORDUÑA 1755 SL. “These are companies with an outstanding capacity for growth, innovation, leadership, and social responsibility, which, thanks to their growth strategies, have been able to position their products in international markets,” indicated Elia Verdevío.

During the Gala, held in the gardens of Casa Nebot, all attendees enjoyed eight audiovisual presentations showcasing their business and commercial work; the Councilor for Trade and Industry stated that “the award winners are examples of dynamism and drive in various sectors that require constant adaptation to competitive and changing markets.”
